Natalia Anatolievna Kostrikova graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics of Kaliningrad State University in 1995 with a degree in Physics with the qualification of a teacher of Physics . Academic degree - PhD in Physics and Mathematics (2001), academic title- associate professor of the Department of Physics.

She has completed professional retraining in the following programs: “State and Municipal Management” of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (2014), “Mediation. Basic course", "Mediation. Features of the use of mediation", "Mediation. Training course for mediator trainers" (2013–2014), "Management of rights to the results of intellectual activity at a university" (FIPS, 2022).
From 1996 to 2004- position of an assistant, then an associate professor at the Department of Theoretical Physics at Kaliningrad State University. From 2004 to 2009 – head of research, associate professor of the Department of Physics of Baltic Fishing Fleet State Academy. During this period, she also worked as the scientific director (responsible executor) of a series of annual research projects commissioned by Rosrybolovstvo in improving industrial education. As a scientific supervisor, she coordinatedR&D under the U.M.N.I.K. program. From 2009 to 2014 - Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and International Cooperation of Baltic Fishing Fleet State Academy, representative of quality management. From 2014 up to present Natalia Anatolievna has been Vice-Rector for Research at Kaliningrad State Technical University, and part-time associate professor of the Department of Physics. She is the responsible executor of works within the framework of the state assignment “Improving the process of diagnosing the technical condition of marine diesel engines.”
Research interests: applied aspects of NMR spectroscopy methods, management in the field of intellectual property, development of youth entrepreneurship. Natalia Anatolievna is the author of more than 100 scientific and educational works, inventions.
Deputy Chairperson of the organizing committee of the annual international conference “Baltic Maritime Forum”, Chairperson of the organizing committee of the national scientific and technical conference of cadets and students “Science Days”.
Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal “Bulletin of Youth Science”.
Member of the Kaliningrad Region Government Commission for the Eureka Prizes in the field of science, technology and innovation.
Expert at the Innovation Promotion Foundation. Member of the expert council for the selection of candidates for the U.M.N.I.K. program in the Kaliningrad region.
